Hey guys, it's been yet another week full of coffee, both freshly brewed from a machine and instant, Nescafe Gold, you are getting me through life so shout out to you. A majority of my posts so far have been about my antics so far and hopefully that's keeping you all entertained, I would vlog about it to add some further light entertainment in the form of a video but that would just be embarrassing for me but nonetheless quite entertaining. Today's post is about nail polish which I have previously posted about before. I just had to tell you guys about this new one I tried out and also thought I'd give you some tips about how best to go about applying your own nail polish instead of having someone else, or in some case paying someone else to do them for you.

Rimmel London's 60 Second Nail Enamel
Midnight Rendezvous Purple
from the Rita Ora Collection
So I just wanted to tell you guys about this nail polish that I tried for the first time ever. It's Rimmel London's 60 Second Nail Enamel, the one I've been using for a week is a Midnight Rendezvous Purple, basically a fancy way of saying it's a dark purple. I love the variety and I absolutely adore the Rimmel brand and that Rita Ora is an ambassador for it with her own collection, but I have to say, I found this nail polish quite difficult to apply, it was really runny and I had to put just over three coats of it on just to define the dark purple colour. However,  I'll give the nail polish credit for having actually lasted a good 4 days, and not chipping. Rimmel London's 60 second nail polish is about $4 per nail polish, but it obviously depends on where you go, give it a try and see how you like it, it's perfect for people on the go with very little time on their hands.

When applying nail polish be sure to always put a base coat first, then the nail polish and colour of your choice, at least two coats, if you're not satisfied put more, and then finish with a top coat if you're wanting to add further shine to your nails. Base coats usually starts from as little as $2 per nail polish while top coats are around $4 or more, but once again it depends on the brand you buy and where you buy it. If you're doing your own nails and have no one who can do them for you, I always start with the hand I can't write with first because I feel like it's easier for me that way. This method always works for me, sometimes I don't have time for a base coat so I just apply the nail polish and colour of my choice and top coat, still works like a charm and lasts a while.
How to apply nail polish, I found this to be one of the best methods
