Passions, life and travelling
Omg guys, I got my first comment ever on a blog post and it's safe to say I totally freaked out like a total loser! I continuously tell you guys how much I absolutely love the interaction on social media and how much it helps me write posts for you to read, hopefully you guys keep up the commenting, asking me questions or just general comments through Ask.fm, tweeting me and such. Thank you to the anonymous commenter for your comment, this post will based on the questions you asked.
"Hi, Curious to know what you're studying? Beauty/Fashion? It seems like it's a passion of yours. How do you balance study and family? Do you have siblings/boyfriend? Have you been overseas? Where would you recommend travelling to?"
Currently I'm studying Criminology, Psychology and Laws as part of my university degree being a Bachelor of Arts/Laws. This double degree is quite hectic and time consuming and sometimes I barely have time for myself, a social life with friends and my family; which does consist of a couple of siblings. I find it difficult at times to balance studying and a life because there is a lot more readings, homework and assignments than anticipated. Lectures and tutorials are also a time consuming part of being a uni student because a majority of the time classes and such are compulsory. I will say that the social aspect of uni is something I absolutely love, I've made a number of friends just by working with them in tutorials. I have to travel more than an hour to and from uni which also takes up my time, but usually I'll try and do some readings or homework during the journey on public transport, which is a uni student's best friend because it's cheap and sometimes convenient. I must admit that I do get really lazy at home and don't tend to do chores, or ignore my friends and family at times by locking myself in my room, or going MIA on social media, so that I can finish readings, homework or assignments. I do put off plans with friends but it's become a lot easier since I've been dating someone and usually our friends are always at the same place and we try to organise things together based on whether we're busy or not. I always try to make an effort with everyone in my life and plan out every single thing, I have a routine which is difficult to stick by, organisation is the key.
Beauty and fashion are passions of mine. I love taking care of myself with a healthy diet, vitamins, and an exercise routine, natural remedies, fragrances, toiletries and skin, hair and cosmetic products. I think it's important to feel good both inside and out, and for me feeling good is about looking good so I do have a tendency to care a little bit too much about my appearance. With regards to fashion, I'm a bit of a self-confessed shopaholic like a majority of the female population in the world. However, I do shop in moderation and with accordance to sales and specials in my favourites shops and boutiques. My love of beauty and fashion is motivated by social media in a way because I love publicising what I've brought, how it looks and all that jazz, usually in the form of Instagram posts, which consist do usually consist of selfies.
To everyone's surprise and to my own surprise, I have never been overseas! It's always been something on my bucket list and hopefully I'll travel in the future. I've always wanted to travel around America and Europe, even study in one of the countries situated in these continents. All I can recommend people to travel to is around Australia, specifically Melbourne, it is the most liveable city after all.
