The annual event to celebrate music and its culture is one of the most prestigious events of the year, every year. It's all about the red carpet fashion hits and misses and who takes home that almighty gramophone award or more than one, in some cases. The red carpet during the 57th Grammy Awards was full of glam and sham, so let's take a look at the best and the worst of dressers.

WORST DRESSED AND THE SHOCKERS

We'll start with naming and shaming the worst dressers and their questionable fashion sense and style on this year's red carpet. Some haven't necessarily dressed badly, a statement was made but without the reward.

Madonna in Givency
This is the most questionable outfit of the red carpet
for sure. I have to say that the statement
Madonna is making with this outfit is quite
questionable. I'll give her props for rocking her
body and not being afraid to do so but
mooning everyone on the red carpet is
a little to controversial for my liking.
This is not so Vogue at all.
Charli XCX in Jeremy Scott for Moschino
I am the biggest fan of Charli and her music and
everything is about but damn it I hate this outfit!
Charli is the hottest person but her fashion
taste is always questionable and inconsistent.
I love the wrap, the hair and the makeup but not
the suit, it's not the worst outfit there is. Charli
still pulls this off and you can't hate her
confidence and kinky style!

Rihanna in Giambattista Valli
I don't know why Rihanna decided to dress
like a pink meringue mixed with a marshmallow
and a cupcake but I'm utterly confused.
I don't understand, Rihanna always
has an incredible fashion sense. I mean it's just so
puffy, big and pink and clashes with the red carpet!

Joy Villa
This is the most absurd outfit... Like ever?
I just have to ask, why would you wear this?
I'm all for being environmentally friendly but
wearing recycled snow fencing... There are
no words to describe this.

BEST DRESSED

Onto those who stunned us, in a good way, and awed us with their fashion statements and their cool, cut outfits, on the red carpet.

Taylor Swift in Elie Saab
Pairing the dazzling, aquamarine dress with Giuseppe
Zanotti Shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz earrings and ring
Swift pulls off a stunning outfit with ease.
Her style has really evolved and I'm really happy
that Swift added a pop of colour without going
overboard, proving you can make a statement
without over-doing it.
Anna Kendrick in Band of Outsiders suit
I am in love with this look and Anna has always been
known for her simple looks and I admire the fact
that she sticks to it and is always consistent with fashion
Her look is paired with Jimmy Choo shoes,
Venyx World jewelry, Jacquie Aiche and Uma K rings,
and Ferragamo clutch

Zendaya in Vivienne Westwood
Debuting her pixie cut with an immaculate
multicoloured, one-shoulder dress that shows a
little leg, Zendaya stuns us all. Everything about
this outfit is so right, the shoes are on point, her
makeup is spot on and I can't not compliment her
on her impeccable eyebrows. Absolutely stunning!

Katy Perry in Zuhair Murad
Never failing to impress, Katy pulls off an elegant little
number. It's very simple but so delicate and awe-
inspiring. Neutrals are in and Katy is owning it.
The lilac hair is also perfect for this outfit as it
adds a little pop to it without adding too much.

NOTABLE LOOKS

There a lot other looks that made an impact on the red carpet. From the simple and sophicated black, to white and the glitz and glamorous feel of metallics, we saw it all.

Nicki Minaj in Tom Ford
Miley Cyrus in Alexandre Vauthier
Gwen Stefani in Versace
