One of my go to articles of clothing is anything that features a ruched look, it's also known as 'rouched', whatever tickles your fancy really. So what is ruching or rouching? It's a French word for plait, which is a sewing technique that involves the gathering of fabric in a repeated strip or ribbon pattern. Why do I love this gathered technique? It helps slim the waist and accentuates your features and the curves of your body, so it's basically body con but is on a whole new level. If you're wanting to try out a ruched look, my personal favourite look is a midi skirt and top co-ord or a midi dress, it's an easy look to throw on if you're in a rush, so it's super convenient and extremely comfortable!
